Hausermann is amazing, but I think most of us know that already
I've ordered from Hausermann a number of times through the years. His plants are always in top health, as pristine as you can expect a plant to be, and they are really big for the price. The one was 45 dollars for a FCC awarded plant that has completely filled its 6 inch pot. As soon as I see new root growth, I'll move into an 8 inch bulb pan. He'll even send you a plant in bud if he happens to have one at the time you order. I've been blown away a number of times by how much nicer the plants he sends are than I ever would have expected. Below is my most recent purchase, RLC Ports of Paradise 'Emerald Isle'. It has a spent flower spike on it, so I know it's big enough to bloom, and it has a new growth pretty far along, and I can see the sheath starting to emerge, so maybe I'll have blooms soon. Hausefrmann, if you read this, thank you again. You're definitely one of the best in the country, if not the world.

I do really like Hausermann's. Hausermann's is a good company and have been in business a long time for that reason. Not only do I buy from them a few times a year for myself but I also send gifts to people through them. If you have questions, you can call them and they are always very friendly. Once, they sent me the wrong orchid and they made it good. They also are careful not to send orchids when it is too cold and always pack the orchids very well so that they all arrive healthy. So many times I have ordered orchids that are not advertised in bud to receive one that is. And for all of these reasons, I recommend them to people.

Yes, I've also received orchids from them that are in bud which were not advertised as so. Hausermann is my favorite orchid nursery, if I had to pick just one. I'm also very fond of Marlow, and I love Odom's because of their incredible selection, and like Hausermann, their plants are always big for the price. And they also send orchids in bud if they have them. The only thing I like better about Hausermann is that their plants look less weathered than the ones I get from Odoms. Maybe he grows under shade cloth and they get exposed to the elements? I'm not sure, but I've got a few plants from Odom that were big and healthy and happy, but looked like they'd lived a rough life. But Odom's isn't the topic here. Hausermann is, and they are fantastic. I have nothing negative to say abut Hausermann. When I'm looking for a specific plant, I always check there first.

I always feel sad for people who order from iffy places and get bad results. There are so many very good vendors out there, each with their specialty.

The Marblekgs of the world shouldn't even exist in a world where we have places like Odom's and Hausermann, and Carmela's, and Akatsuka, and all the other fine, reputable places where you can find the best orchids.

Great a looking plant! Even though I'm in Europe I've heard so many great things about this vendor. I often wish I could order there. Don't get me wrong, we have great vendors in Europe, but the trend at several of my favorite places is to sell smaller and smaller plants... What used to be my favorite vendor sold really unbelievable large plants 6-7 days ago, and now the stuff they label as flowering size looks like it came out of a flask not too long ago...

Glad you are happy with your purchase, such a great plant!
I agree Hauserman is one of the best. I received a fairly pricey phal that had some mysterious heat damage to one of the leaves, the plant was otherwise fine. I sent them an email as an FYI and a week later a new plant showed up unexpectedly.
Hauserman is definitely in my top 4 suppliers (SVO, Andy's, and Carmelas being the other 3).

I also have had a great experience with Orchids by Hausermann.
I promised my mom some divisions/keikis from my orchids but they died before I could send them to her. My mom called me a week or so before Thanksgiving last year to ask me when am I giving her the orchids I promised her, and I explained to her what happened. It occurred to me to look for an orchid nursery near my mom and I found OBH to be the closest one. Little did I know there was someone even closer to them... my sister who lived near them and worked only 13 min. away from them!
I called OBH and was transferred to Andy; I told him about my mom wanting her first orchid and asked for his assistance in selecting orchids for my mom. I mentioned to him my mom's ranges of temperature and humidity, window orientation, and color preferences. I asked if Andy could select some orchids and text/email me pictures and I'd select orchids from those pictures. Andy selected some beautiful phals and paphs and I chose one each and Andy packed them up nicely as a gift for my mom. They are (Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') x Sib and Phal. Tying Shin Super Star 'TS2832'. Andy even charged me less than previously agreed which was a surprise. He had the order ready for pickup within a couple hours and even stayed a half hour past closing time to accommodate my sister's work hours.
Fast forwarding to the last couple months... My mom was complimented on her orchids by a person from her local conservatory who did a presentation on orchids and their care. He said the phal and paph were worth quite a bit of money and my mom was impressed. (Thanks, Andy!) As of the last week or two... The phal is still in bloom, and the paph, which was in bloom at the time, is in spike!
I thank Andy for his excellent customer assistance and I'll order from him again when finances and weather cooperate. I encourage you to order from him, too!
Here's pictures of the orchids Andy selected for me.
