I placed a small order from this company.

The plants arrived in great condition and were extremely well packaged.

One in bloom and another in spike.

Thanks for the feedback! I had heard about that nursery but always hesitated to order since I had no idea what the quality would be. Good to have another place to shop at now that Elsner has closed.

What are the 2 Phals?

EDIT: I was just browsing their website, and as with Claessen Orchideeen, I don't like how it's made. They list all the plants which are out of stock along with the ones they do have, and the huge number of unavailable plants makes it rather difficult at times to determine what they DO have in stock. I wish it was possible to also filter based on availability.

Yes it is a shame Elsner has closed I have some nice plants from there.

The phals are venosa and violacea 'Borneo' - I was just wanting to replace a venosa I lost, but the others just crept into my basket - it makes the shipping costs more palatable 🙂

Also, there are a few European suppliers no longer shipping to the UK so I thought I should order early.

I really wonder how Brexit is going to work out for you plant wise! In the worst case scenario, after the transition period you will be limited to UK nurseries only...

I have always relied on continental suppliers for my orchids so it would be a real loss. The houseplant trade would also be seriously affected with the Netherlands supplying almost all indoor plants.
