Ebay seller marblekg (in FL)
Word of caution:
While their bare root Cattleyas are priced well, most are very desiccated upon receipt. I have plants received in August, which I am still struggling to get going.
They reserve the right to make substitutions. And, they do on occasion. If you complain, you get a refund, but they bar you from any future purchases.
They have no heat packs for winter shipment. I offered to send them heat packs for use in my shipment, but they went ahead and shipped without. With likely delays over the holidays, I expect to receive stone dead plants.

So sorry to hear this. This is not the first time this seller's unfortunate practices have turned up on this and various other forums. It's always sad to see that even within the orchid community there are folks like this who take advantage of others.

I've bought two plants from him. They were near blooming size Cattleyas. Both of them were healthy, but when they got big enough and finally bloomed a year or two later, it turns out that neither of them was the plant it was supposed to be. And I want to clarify, I didn't buy two plants at once that were mislabeled. I bought one plant at a time on two separate occasions, and both of them were mislabeled, which suggests a pattern to me rather than a one-time mistake. I bought the two plants about a year apart, so by the time I realized the first one was the wrong plant, I had already bought the second one. When that one bloomed out something completely different too... you know.

One of the August plants was a C. intermedia, var Orlata 'Rio', described as large. It was, but all back-bulbs (all front leads had been removed, presumably sold separately).
This plant managed to produce one flower on one of the two new growths it produced. Turned out to be virused.

I got duped. He's reselling orchids from La Plantio Orqueda and I ended up paying double for something I could have bought there. I ended up ordering from La Plantio Orqueda so I could make sure he gave me the right plant... he did. Just fleeced me...

I also had a bad experience. . .
I recently bought three (expensive) plants from this seller - one was desiccated and very poor health, and one had brown rot when I received it. . . I'm sorry to hear I'm not the only one that has had a bad experience with the seller.

This is why I prefer to always order from orchid vendors with a good reputation. If I want to be surprised, I order some crosses from SVO.

Yeah, he's no good, his plants are mislabeled, most of them are way overpriced, and a lot of them are just crap. Avoid this guy. He's a disaster.
