h & r ordering list?
hi, i was just wondering if the ordering catalogue completely changes each time they post a new one (next one is june 1 i think...). the reason i am asking is that we are moving and cannot order orchids until mid-june ish BUT i have my eyes/heart set on some of those plants.

Each new list supercedes the previous one. On the website they specifically ask that you not order from old lists.

Yes to what Ray said about ordering off of the previous list. And yes, the list does change, but not completely. The Den hybrid section and miscellaneous species section change the most (from what I can remember) followed by the Den species. The Cattleya species section does change but their might be more Cattleya walkerianas or Cattleya maximas will get added on the next list with less trianae or warscewiczii. The size of what is offered also changes. For instance the current list offers the Den Hawaii Stripes in a 2” pot and the next list could offer it in a 3.5” or 5” pot. These are just speculation, not specific examples, but that’s kind of how it goes.
Good news is if what you are interested in now isn’t offered on the next list (and you really can’t buy any orchids right now) it will usually come around again and they always have awesome stuff. I usually get a few things each time a new list comes out

Thanks for the reminder!
edit: I can't seem to access the new list... it seems that only the outdated spring list is available...

You’re right! I got the hard copy in the mail last week, which is how I saw the new list. Might be worthwhile to send them an email.

I emailed them 2 days ago and they haven't gotten back to me. Has anyone gotten a response from them?

They’re slow to respond to emails. Give it a few weeks.

Ok, thank you. I'll just have to be patient now.
