Arachnis flos-aeris
The species and other similar climbing orchids are grown as fences in tropical Asia. People may consider this one as a reanthera without noticing its flowers.
The flowers looks like spiders and hence this species is called 'Spider orchid' here.

What I know about this species is that it grows to be very large, and likes hot, steamy lowland coditions. It might be a little tough to keep under control in a greenhouse.  |

Carl, it is a true lowland species, enjoying a lot of sunlight, but tolerates low temperature about 10℃. Normally, it could be higher than an adult. Mine is a 'young' plant now, about 2 feet now.
It will be a good greenhouse plant; the only problem is that the plant would occupy too much space.

Sue,no need to fence entire property for scorpions, just one plant is enough .It can grow in a corner of your green house and cover your orchid room and give shades too.
These flowers can live more than one month .

My plants are more than 7 feet high!!! THEY'RE HUGH.
The flowers last a long time and are quite lovely.
