Its growing in a plastic mesh basket, 15mm grade pine bark. It hangs above my Catts in 60% shade or there abouts. It gets watered & fed with everything else.
Temp in house ranges from 10c in Winter to 40c in summer (like now!).
There is heating but not to hold high temps, cooling is a large evaporative cooler with a good strong fan even on low.
All my Aerides are hanging on the wire at right of picture.
