I think it's a shame that this genus of orchids do not get a lot of recognition in the hobby.
I think they're unique and fun to have around.
There are also few people growing them here. Four native Luisia species grow in Taiwan. L. teres is the most common seen in the wild. Other three ones are rare.
These years, some cross of luisia had been created. Therefore, colorful luisia hybrids are available.
Very Cool! I had one for several years...then I sold it to a fellow OS member when it got too big. Easy grower and reliable bloomer but it does get rather large and ramble-y over time.
