Bankok Brown Vanda Picture Wanted
I bought a Bankok Brown Vanda from an orchid show and was told it was a nice one, and I would like it. I have searched for a picture of it and can't find one. Has anyone see it or have a picture of it?

Very pretty, I am jealous! I have a denisonara that I think has a similar petal structure, very attractive, more so than the ultra flat plate Sandaria sometimes.

I found this at Natt's Orchids - ( New Arrival 2007 )
"Vanda Bangkok Brown (V. brunnea x V. merrillii) Reddish brown. Fragrant"
Looks like you might just have the above photographed plant, Marilyn

Just for reference, It's not my picture, it's from a Thai site. (unless you have the East Asian Fonts installed, it's going to be mainly gibberish):
ลูกผสม สามปอยดง X merrillii หอมหน่อยๆ ออกเก่งเหมือนกัน
***จดทะเบียนแล้วชื่อ Bangkok Brown***

Thanks ocelaris. I had not seen that site.
It is as nice as Natt said it will be. I had pre-ordered some vanda (4) from him to take to the GVOS show. When I got there he had a box full of plants for me to choose from. I bought the whole box full, 9 plants. All of them were what I had seen pictures of except Bankok Brown and Perreiraara Motes Leprechan 'Haiku Mint' (I found a pic or this one). I trust Natt's judgment well enough to believe when he says It is nice and I will like it, I will buy it.
I especially like the fact that I didn't need to have them shipped. Shipping to Michigan in the winter is not the best idea. Right now our pot-holes are large enough to swallow up a truck....almost. WILL WINTER EVER END?
Thanks again for the pic. I would never have found it.
This forum is GREAT, and the people are so helpful.
Marilyn

Marilyn, while I was looking at Natt's Orchids site, I found this plant and started searching the flower. Then, I found your thread.
Has it bloomed since you bought it? I am now tempted.
