Yeah, that is huge! My new Vanda enclosure is only 4 feet tall total! Yikes! But I plan to do some significant bonsai work with the roots to keep them in check... now how to "gently" coax them from going rampant?
Right now the roots on my Princess Mikasas (2) are about 3 months since I got them, and their roots are like 6" and they point Straight out, a few go down, but they're just aiming in every which way. Maybe if they had a structure they would stick to that instead? The plants can't naturally just hang out in the air can they? Do they attach to bark like Phals, Catts etc... ?
