It is Rhynchocentrum Lilac Blossom. I dunno what that means, other than it has LOTS of buds on a spike
The orchids will stay in the bath for anywhere from half an hour to two hours (depending on when I remember to take them out) Though I''ve been trying to stick to an hour each time. I like to make sure the roots get really nice and green. It's usually got a weak fertilizer in it.

To all with V. Roberts Delight 'Black', the variation of colors in different websites is amazing. If you look at the display of RF Orchids at the WOC, they had lots of it. Their flowerings surprized me as they were the same color as mine and nothing like the catalogs from Asia.
RD 'Black" is not black, its a deep maroon. This is mine BUT it came with the spike and lost a few buds etc with the change. This flower isn't too bad.

Nice bath!
Come to think of it, it seems to be quite a while since I gave mine a jacuzzi treatment...

That is SUCH an awsome flower! I wish mine didn't blast... it is supposed to be RD Blue/Black, so maybe that means less of a maroon colour? The plant looks really good, so maybe it'll try again in the summer. I don't even know how often it's supposed to be able to blossom. I'm assuming it's like the ascs..... but I dunno really
I guess I will keep up the bath regimen. They ALL seem to enjoy that

Shams, Your potting looks good - that's a really nice pot! The pots that I used were only 9cm, so it was easier to get the ball of moss to sit on top.

I had a tiny one that I got specifically for the Neo... but by the time I got the moss and the roots to work together, it was a little too big for the pot!
I had this pot from a dendrobium that didn't like me and died, so I stuck the Neo in it instead
