Vanda sanderiana alba
I know all my plants are older than 3 years bec that was the last time I bought any orchids. This one at least 5 years old. The moss is alive. I keep the roots tucked in the moss and this past season I measured root growth. Total of 8ft plus of root. 8 feeet in one season. WOW. Blooms look nice too just was a little late to take the pic. Smell is wonderful!! I just love my smelly orchids when they treat me to the scent of the flower.
It is really a big nicely grown vanda if I say so myself. all the leaves are intact all the way down to the stump.

That is a beautifully well grown plant, but it is certainly a sanderiana hybrid of some kind rather than V. sanderiana alba. The shape, color and pattern just aren't right for that species.

Ill check the tag to make sure. the sanderiana hybrid I have is sanderiana alba x v.vietnamica (spiking now) and the flowers are very few and smallish. This one came from clown alley orchids and it was his tag. He no longer has any of them and I dont see an archived pic either of his plant. I will check to be sure bec if anyone else wants one they can get the right plant and not be disappointed ya
The moss FYI is Florida Everglade moss. Came n a box a few years back. I got in trouble yankin moss out of the trees in da park. dont pull moss of out trees in da park you will get a ticket in texas.
Thanks you all!!

Here is a photo of Vanda sanderiana alba (from Exotic Orchids). While individual plants vary in flower quality, this color pattern is what the true species Vanda sanderiana alba looks like.

OMG, the root mass is almost more spectacular than the flowers. Wow.
