Renanthera monachica bloom distorted?
I purchased this Renanthera monachica in bloom in February, 2016 at the Pacific Orchid Expo. It spent the summer outside and has bloomed again.
Compared to many of the pictures I see online of this species, the blooms seem oddly shaped, with the top of the bloom shrunken and the bottom petals enlarged. Is this just the nature of my plant? or is there a likely cause for this shape?
