I don't believe, Susanne. Cultural differences can sometimes affect the color of the flowers, but it is not something so common. Rhychostylis coelestis is known for its very variable flowers ranging from very pale lavender to deep violet, more or less like mine. For me, those having the color of the sky, like yours, are the most desirable. BTW, congrats on your flowers. It seems that you have at least two spikes! Very good!!
