Default Vanda denisoniana

This has turned out to be one of the few orchids that I've ever grown that can possibly come close to honestly being called ever-blooming. It produces a spike just about every two to three months between spring and late fall, and the flowers are very nicely fragrant and long lasting.

Interesting about the blooming. A few months ago here in Thailand a flower stand was selling a rather forlorn but in bloom Dennisoniana, the plant had 4 rather large yellow with white lip blooms for about a buck seventy-five U.S. I was glad that the flowers lasted a whole month after I bought it and the whole plant began to perk up as soon as I hung it up under the shade cloth with my other vandas. But even better was a few weeks ago it put out another bloom spike with what looks like another 9 blooms. I really am happy with this one.

Beautiful flowers! I love the bright color! Sounds like a winner, too, being fragrant and ever-blooming.

Motes Orchids has them
V. denisoniana x same

RF Orchids and Seattle Orchids sometimes have them, but I don't see them now

In my experience this species is not quite as easy to grow as are Vanda hybrids. My seedling is alive and growing but not thriving.
