What triggers these guys to spike? I won mine in spike (in early december). The blooms are still as vibrant and fragrant as the day I got it....I'm just thinking about ext year because it appears to grow at a glacial pace.

I just acquired two Rhys. in an auction. One wht w/pink/lav lip the other very dk grape color. No spots on either. Both in bloom at a great price of $7. ea. Looking for cultural info in anyone would like to share.
