Renanthera monachica is another species blooms in spring. I find it is not an easy plant to grow. Some of my friends also think so.

But you grow beautiful plants pheli! If you have difficulty growing this plant in Taiwan, imagine growing them in Fort Wayne, Indiana! I am trying to grow this plant here in Winterland. It grows very slowly. And I hope to get mine to bloom like your plant.

Some seedlings are not easy plants to grow and were killed in hot days. Although it comes from tropical country, but it may from cool highlands.

Another interesting Renanthera species due to the spots on petals and sepals.

Thanks for the growing information. I've come close to ordering it a few times, but now that I know it's too warm in Taiwan for this plant to be happy, I'll forget about it.

Very nice, eye-popping colour.
