Default Blooming twice on same leaf bracket

Just curious......
I have a Ascda Kulwadee Fragrance No.5 that has bloomed twice from the same leaf bracket. Just wondering how common this is....as it is the first time I have seen this behavior.

Interesting! Is it possible that the first spike came from the lower leaf axis, but it grew through the leaf above?

Actually upon closer examination, it does appear the second spike came from the leaf bracket just above the old spike, and pierced through the base of the leaf rather than growing up above the leaf.

I've seen Phal spikes do that, which is why that occurred to me. It's much easier to see on a Phal, I imagine, as the leaves aren't held so tightly together.
