One of my favorites, keeping me company at work. It continously keeps producing flowers on it's three spikes.
Anybody else growing orchids in their work space?
It might be fun to add an other miniature ...

That's an awsome miniature plant. Great for small work space. I have a few phals at my office that I've adopted from other coworkers lol.

I've always wanted to grow a miniature at work but have been put off by the low humidity created by air conditioning.

By the way, that is just about the healthiest Haraella I've seen. Very nice!

Great little orchid.

I used to have some Phals keeping me company, but my desk moved and there is very little natural light where I am now, so I took them home.

Your specimen looks great. Could you post some pix of the flower? Would you consider sharing/selling pollen from it? Let me know. Thanks.

Hello Guido,
I would be more than happy to share pollen with you, since you are here in the US. To be honest, I have NO idea how to collect pollen from this little thing and how to package it for you ... I unfortunately don't even know anybody here in the area that could show me how :-(

The original picture in this thread is from October last year. The only bloom picture I have is from (I think) sometime in March last year.

You can have one inside a clear plastic container that is completely sealed.

Hello Margi, thank you for your offer. There are 2 ways to retrieve the pollen. The 1st one is to get the pollen with a tooth pick, but as soon as you do that the flower starts to wilt. The 2nd option is to wait until the flower is beginning to wilt/change color from solid to translucent (the flower life span is ending) then cut the flower. Place the flower in a small zip-lock bag and mail it. Let me know when your orchid is ready for a donation. Thank you for your time and response. Guido
