Default Are my Ascocenda's buds blasting?

I know I'll find out the answer to this in a day or two on my own, but I'm worried...

I bought this beautiful Ascocenda Fuchs Sunkist last month and was happy to find it was already in bud! I've been excited to see the flowers, but am a little worried that the buds have started to look yellow. Is this a natural coloration for this plant? I believe its flowers will be yellow or orange in color.

Earlier this year, some of my other vandas' buds blasted due to heat stress, and they turned yellowish in color before they kicked the bucket.

In the attached pictures you can see the buds and the place my plant is hanging.

Can't say for sure but they do look like they are naturally light in color. The plant is supposed to be orange and I find that many of my Orange / Yellow vandaceous plants have buds that quickly lighten up, not dissimilar to the coloration you would expect from a plant going into bud blast, just before they swell and open.

If they were blasting there would be signs of shriveling and stunted development of the individual buds in addition to the color change.

Thank you for your insight. My other vandas have dark colored flowers, and their healthy buds tend towards the darker green / purplish hues. Ever since they blasted this summer I've been cautious. We'll see how this one turns out!

You guys were right! The flowers are starting to open now! Here's a quick pic of one of the blooms. Hope to post more when it fully opens.
