Neostylis 'Baby Angel'
this is one stingy blooming plant. Had 3 spikes this summer and 1 I pinched off bec it was sad and the other is still trying to bloom. Got these as not much else I have has any flowers. Its all nice green and healthy. Thats a good start. Thanks Ive not fallen off the planet or wrecked my scooter yet.
the flowers while small smell wonderful. I put it by my bed on the night stand in the evening just so I can enjoy the scent.
Plants about 3 years old from the greenhouse and has 6 growths. Grown in RJ'S 33 and 1/3 mix of equal parts of dyna rok ,charcoal and orchiata. Gets fertilized with Peters Excell Cal-Mag. An occasional Orthene and soap drench for bugs and a Physan dunk for the rest of the funk.
Remember its good to let your plants dry out on occasio n as it kills all the bacteria and fungus in the mix that left unchecked may cause you some grief. The 104 degree heat in my hothouse is sterilizing everything for the cold winter munts.
Have Fun!!!

Very nice! I got one of these last spring but I think mine is still another year from blooming. Thanks for posting, I know what to look forward to now! Nice munch of flowers for such a small plant.

they take some time. this one is over 3 years old. Had buds after a year but they always blasted or was very thin and weak.
I left it alone this season and got some blooms. Go figure as much time as you spend tending them and you get zilch. Let em grow being gently ignored and they bloom.
It has a 3rd spike about ready to open with 4 flowers.
