Grandma M, I had a look at the plant, it is very nice but a lot of heat and humidity will be needed to grow his one successfully.

This plant is Vandachostylis (syn: Rhynchovanda) Colmarie. The plant should have bright light, intermediate temps and high humidity to thrive. And in my experience, the grower must have lots of patience (Colmarie has been slow to flower for us).
The attached photo is our Rhy. gigantea, one of Colmarie's parents.
