Default Renanetia Sunrise

(Renanthera imschootiana X Neofinetia falcata)

The delicate colorful flowers form a showy full inflorescence that is resplendent on this petite plant; yet even if it is a first time bloom, it has its own real charm.
This is a very intriguing primary cross between Neofinetia falcata and Renanthera imschootiana. (Seed Parent: Renanthera imschootiana; Pollen Parent: Neofinetia falcata=presently called: 'Vanda falcata' making this a ‘Renantanda’….but I will follow the original tag at the moment)
The flower color is a golden red-orange with some fire engine red on the lip, and sometimes also on the petal tips.
I follow the culture of the parent (Renanthera) with weekly weakly k-lite fertilizer alternated with seaweed mix. I hold fertilizer in winter even if I water this orchid plant regularly all year round.

I love it, red/orange blooms are my favourite. Is it scented?

Interestingly the renanthera was dominant in all aspects except the height of plant to reach BS. No long spurs or thin floral segments ... Now I wonder if the spike will branch eventually

Thank You !

There is a slight floral scent that might have been stronger if I gave it more humidity.

Renantheras don't have spurs while in bud and you can see that the bud of this plant has a small spur. It also gave me two basal keikis. The leaf formation is like a Neofinetia. I have not seen the spikes to branch out on any other pictures online.
