I appreciate all the kind comments.

One of the things I like is that it's one of a few renantheras that stay compact and looks good out of bloom, like a neofinetia on steroids lol

The flowers are long lasting and 4 to 5 weeks or more is not unusual.

I gave the cultivar name 'Tonto' in reflection to it's cuteness and a reference to it's home city Toronto. I didn't realize it's meaning in Italian (grin).

Fairorchids, I bought my plant from Al's Orchids. Orchid Limited out of Plymouth, MN also has these plants.

Very nice!! I thought all renatheras were super tall. I will have to be on the lookout for this one...it's a stunner.

Nicely done! I haven't had any luck yet with Renantheras. Still trying though!

Wowza!!! I see pictures of this species blooming with only 4 pairs of leaves! They can bloom on a very young plant. Mine has 3 pairs of leaves and one coming up. Can't wait to see mine in bloom! I have it on a stick that i got from andy's. Your plant is an inspiration! Very funny cultivar name.
