Christieara & 2 Ascocenda
Yes, I know that the taxonomists have changed both, but I do not care for those changes. I have these 3 in bloom right now, L-to-R:
Christieara Luang Prabang (Aer lawrencea x Ascda Tubtim Velvet), 3-3.1/2" flowers showing the Aerides color pattern. This cross has 3.125% Ascocentrum curvifolium in the background.
Ascocenda Crownfox Avocado Honey, 5-6" flowers. This cross has 3-4% Ascocentrum in the background (both curvifolium & miniatum).
(Ascda Suebsakul Beauty x Ascda Meda Arnold) has 1.1/2"-2" flowers. This unnamed grex is 50% Asctm curvifolium.
While the large 96% Vanda hybrid is surprisingly easy to bloom (2-3 times annually in GH in NJ), it takes up more space than most hobby growers can spare. My personal preference is really going back to 1st and 2nd generation Ascocenda hybrids, such as the plant on the right.

They are all pretty, but I am in love the Crownfox! The flowers are very striking!

Any fragrance? I only have one Aeridovanda (Christieara ). The flowers are half the size of yours but boy it's like a perfumary and always in spike.

I didn't notice any. Based on size, I suspect that the Ascda was used as pod parent.
