V. Cindy Banks 'Bill's Choice'
I purchased this when we were in Orlando last month. It was actually my four year old daughter's pick.

The greenhouse we visited was filled with Vandas, but most were high. These plants were eye level with my 3 & 4 year old, so they definitely caught their attention and obviously mine, since I purchased it.
You have posted about visiting your local growers and it is definitely awesome to be surrounded by so many vandas. The roots make it feel so jungle like, along with all the little critters that live among the plants. I think it's awesome that you get to experience it regularly!

Your daughter picked one of my favorite vandas. It's a beauty.

I own a large one of these. Who did you buy it from in the Orlando area?

I got it from Tom Ritter's greenhouse. It has two decent sized plants in the basket, but the leaves got a bit wonky on the way home because it was my first time transporting plants on a plane. I guess I will have to fly down again soon to perfect my technique! ;-)

Nice choice! They have a great looking flower. I bought one a couple of years ago that was just going out of flower. The leaves were a bit wonky then and still are! It is finally showing some new root growth after sitting and doing nothing for almost 2 years. I too stopped by Tom Ritter Orchids last fall and he did have a number of nice Cindy Banks! Good luck!
