Vanphalanthe (Phal. amabilis x Pda. Josephine van Brero) syn. Vandaenopsis

I was given a small seedling of a Vanphalanthe hybrid(Phal. amabilis x Pda. Josephine van Brero) syn. Vandaenopsis, last year.

The leaves are very phal to look at but I hung it right next to my standard vanda's and it has taken right off with the vanda light being no issue for the broad leaves.

It's in small clay pot with a handful of lava rock and some charcoal, roots are going crazy.

So anyway, I check it this morning and behold.....there is a spike forming!

Congrats! I have a bunch of spikes coming in as well at the moment!!! Such a good feeling!
