Ohhhh Ebay... Vanda bensonii, denisoniana, and Gordon Dillon

So I splurged, sometimes I have moments of weakness. I'm going to be cramped on space until I complete my new orchid chamber, but I'm on may way with a couple new vandas! Excited, but scared with my limited space! Better hurry up and build my new orchidarium! Some pics of my new friends:




Sorry if I bid against anyone on here, I'm just excited about the species, and supposedly near blooming or blooming size... I always end up with 2 or 3 plants from a vendor when I do pick one up to save on shipping, even though it's probably not the best idea... but that's how the orchids roll at my house!

Got these from Larry's Orchids, I have bought from him before, and I can't remember my experience, some other people were complaining about him doctoring the photos, but I will post some pics of the plants to share. I don't remember anything poor about my previous experience, so cross my fingers.

Hi! Great plants, I've done the e-Bay thing with Larry's Orchids and have always been pleased. Doesn't make any difference to me if he "doctors" his photos, I'm not buying a photo, LOL. I've always received healthy plants shipped promptly.

thanks, I'm jumping up from a vanda/ascocenda princess mikasa to "real" vandas, so hoping I didn't pick some touchy plants, But the V. Gordon Dillon is an older favorite I've heard a lot about, so at least 1 should be easy enough.

Larry's Orchids is usually at the GVOS show. I usually buy supplies from him at the show, and possibly a plant or two if he has what I want. I have never placed an order to be shipped so I can't offer any info on that.

I have just built a 'do it myself' rack to hang my vanads on. I now have 3 sitting in a tray and the roots are trying to grow out of the bottom.
