Vanda cristata
This cool growing species arrived as V alpina, but the lip structure identifies it as cristata. Last year it gave a single spike with 1 flower. This year it has produced 5 spikes, with 1 and 2 flowers each.
It is a cool to intermediate grower, and a relatively small plant (for a Vanda).
In January I obtained some seedlings from Carter & Holmes, which have cristata on both sides:
V. Paki (cristata x tricolor)
x
V. Bill Burke (cristata x denisoniana)
These are budding up at the moment, so I should have a flower photo within a week or two.
