I have one too, purchased in 2009, grown from a small plant to a large one, two feet wide, two feet tall but as of yet no flower. I keep it out in morning sun, bright indirect light afternoons on the patio 8 months of the year, feed regularly. It looks happy, robust, but I sure wish I couild coax it to flower. But perhaps it needs to be HUGE before it blooms?

Yes. Rnps. Lena Rowold is a parent of this cross which need to get to a large size in most crosses before it flowers. As you may know Lena Rowold is a huge plant, and gets to gargantuan sizes.

That is a fair size, just measured mine. It is 2.4 foot in height roots not included.

my usual vendor has all his lions splendor blooming now as well. All around same size as mine.....

Which, cr7, has got me thinking. .........maybe you're just a dodgy grower? .........hahaha

Highly doubt it though.
After all it is a plant grown from seed so this means parents can vary and that means traits as well.

I've managed to get this to spike again, it'll be interesting to see how this new spike is compared to the last.
