Newberry Jasmine
Forgot my camera yesterday, so this photo is from my phone. This seedling spiked the first time in October, but the resident chipmunk had the munchies, so I did not get to see the flowers. It is now blooming on two spikes, of which one is branching. The flowers are quite fragrant.
This is one of my many intergeneric Vandaceous plants. Using the names best known to the general public, it is Holcoglossum amesianum x Sedirea japonica. However, the former is now classified as a Vanda, and the latter a Phalaenopsis, so this plant has to be identified as Vandaenopsis (Vnd.) Newberry Jasmine.
