Vanda Pakchung Blue 'Ben'
Here is another orchid from the New York Botanical Gardens. This was too blue for me to ignore. I have a soft spot for living things that are blue. Enjoy.

In all honesty, this is no where near blue but a shade of violet. All this blue come about due to lousy cameras. You'll be surprised some expensive DSLRs can't capture the true colours of many V. coerulea hybrids.

These colours are true to the flowers as they appear on my laptops. My wife also tells me that this is not blue but purple. I am not so good at discriminating between shades of blue and purple. In any case I know that true blue is extremely rare in flowers and these colours are always difficult to reproduce on any camera.
