I bought this vanda in King Scoopers last year in the fall. It quickly established itself in lava rocks and sent out a bloom spike. This is my very first vanda rebloom. I keep this one on my southeastern windowsill in direct sunlight. I soak every 3-5 days and spray every other day.
Trying out Flickr since photobucket won't let me copy and paste the photos url or whatever it is I need to copy and paste for a forum. The vanda is in full bloom. The last two buds blasted. Thank you all for the comments. I am so happy with this vanda and it is special since it is my very first vanda rebloom .
It's surprising that Vandas can rebloom in southeastern windows. That is how I grow all of mine too. I now have a lot of vandas! I just love them. Even though they need water practically every day, they are worth it. I just found another spike on my ascocenda yesterday!
