okay everyone. i have recently discovered Rhynchostylis gigantea and have since gone Vandaceous crazy.
recent buys;
Rhynchostylis rutsa
Rhynchostylis coelestis (blue)
Aerides multiflora
Dimorphorchis rohaniana
Neofinetia falcata

thought i would keep u guys/ladies updated on my vandaceous progress.

first pic: my new favorite flower/orchid Rhynchostylis gigantea.

second pic: a flower spike on my Sedirea Japonica!!! yay!!!! keeping my fingers crossed that it won't blast

My Sedirea japonica's in spike too. Noticed it about a week or so ago. No matter how poorly I treat the little guy, I get a spike every year. Love that little plant!

Is yours potted or mounted? I soak mine daily, it's mounted.
This is my first spike off this orchid so I'm soo excited to finally see the flowers!! I haven't seen them in real life yet! Or smelt their scent
