Ooh, like that new colour as well. Really interesting how these things can change so much in different conditions.

One year later, looking much better. This plant blooms twice a year, in the summer the colour is much more intense than when it flowers in winter.

First and foremost....the plants recovery from losing most of its leaves is almost miraculous. From what I can see of the plant/leaves in the photos, it couldn't be in better shape. The health of the plant is also supported by 2 blooms within 6 months. (If the post dates are correspondent with the actual blooming times) You are a very talented grower.
As for the color difference, light can be a huge factor. Also, vanda flowers can change color as they age. As most last for several weeks, I have seen them both lighten and darken significantly over the life of the flower. Were the two photos taken at the same time frame of the flower lifespan?

Yes, the photos were taken in the same time frame. I think it is definitely a light difference. Living in Florida you probably have no idea how dark, gloomy and short winter days are in Scotland 😰, summer days are usually gloomy but last a lot longer 😎

So cool about the different colors as I can't decide which one I like better. It's like a different plant blooming. I think it was not a stupid move as it turned out.

That's amazing how the colour has changed successive blooms. Congrats.
