I had a "vanda phase" last spring and I got too excited and I now have 9 total. Since then, my watering schedule went from twice a week to daily and I also added a humidifier just for them! I discovered that I am a big fan of big flowered orchids and small flowers doesn't really do anything for me unless it is clustered and exotic. I love the huge flowers of vandas and the depth of the colors. It's just regal. I also like the way they grow with their roots all over and the attention you need to give them is too much for a plant and I like it!

I agree, I had some mini phals and mini dens. I sold and gave a few away b/c the flowers are too small. I love large flowers!

yay! so happy for you!
I can recognize myself in your happiness
I have a vanda too, and it's growing a flower spike during these days.
Actually, I'm a little bit worried because the winter is coming, and my vanda is growing this flower spike very slowly. I don't know if my orchid will bloom, but...finger crossed! And congrats
