Good evening Orchid lovers!
I have some questions re: this vanda that I bought from a grower. It looks like it has it's original long stem/1st plant. Then it made a baby on the bottom then another on the top which is has been in bloom for about a month. I don't know how many years it is. My concern is some of the roots are very dry and brown. The main original plant leaves have a type of coating on them. (Hopefully my pictures show up, so you can see.) I've been reading about Vandas. And the majority rule is not to cut anything until spring. But if the middle (1st) plant is not healthy, than I'd like to cut the bad off now. I welcome anyone's advice. Thanks so much. Pictures are on the way,if the site allows
