Default Ascocentrum ampullaceum

Ascocentrum ampullaceum, this species from Indian Himalayas and Burma has been a huge struggle for me to keep alive in my rather arid low humidity environment here in Africa, let alone flower. However I have managed to achieve some success this season, it the best it has done and I'm thrilled with it.

really nice. Is that two spikes on the plant? I'd say you're doing great with it.

In fact, this is the best this plant has ever achieved for me, 3 inflorescences, and it is still a young plant.
It is just a challenge to keep it going and healthy in such a dry arid environment as ours.
