It's in the house during the colder months (about 8 months of the year). I grow it under lights (HO T5's) and it sits pretty close to the tubes. Coldest night time temps is 58...our furnace is set to kick on at that temp. My average winter day time temps are in the 72-74 range until spring temps heat up and then the room can run upwards of 80-85 before I turn on the a/c.

In the summer I have it outside w/everything else. It's hanging w/my other high light plants in a SW exposure under 50% shade cloth. I find it to be a fairly easy grower...not the faster grower but it doesn't seem to be too fussy about much.

Peter Lin of Diamond Orchids spoke to our club and mentioned this genus. He said they are cool to intermediate growers that definitely need a cool-down at night. That convinced me not to try them, since I can't provide a cool-down at night during the summer.
