If you ever wondered how big a Vanda could grow
When I browsed the Vanda section at IOSPE and read the description "giant sized", I always wondered how big is "Giant", finally yesterday I found out
Vanda dearei
Plant and photo belong to Mrs Rahayu Sumarni, a Jakarta orchid seller and hobbyist. Approximately 1.5 meter tall and it has two pups.

Aw.... That's just a baby.
many vandaceous plants are basically vines, and in nature, a single, undisturbed plant can be many times that size.

I've seen a few for sale around that there the same size of bigger.
But it's a nice baby, give it a few years and it'll be truly huge.

That's pretty awesome, and a very cool species too. If only I could provide the kind of heat it requires. Thanks for posting the photo. The owner must be quite proud of her accomplishment.
