Default Aerides Calayan

Picked this up from Mac's Orchids two years ago. It's roots have doubled in size since I last posted this a year ago. My wife's personal favorite in my collection.
Mine blooms once a year normally right around this time of year.

Adorable white flowers....I wondered why it clustered and bunched this time? This forms a long foxtail cascade of white. Can you describe the fragrance to us?

This a very young plant. So it is a little more compact than an older plant. It smells like sweet fresh spring rain with a slap to the nose with a Madagascar vanilla bean. It easily out smells any other flower I can think of..probably a Gardena will be just as floral (strength wise)

Mac doesn't sell these no more. I bought the last one
