LOL yup it's from orchids.com. I have two plants from them and I have no complaints so far. Just got lucky I guess lol. I repotted right away after a week of having it like I do all of my plants. Thank you!!!

Good to know that you have gotten good plants. I have thought about it a few times then decided against it. Seems you get about a 50/50 chance

That's what I heard. I guess you get good plants and bad plants everywhere.. repotting right away prevents any problems in the medium that usually is the culprit and just adjust as needed.

Very nice!
Just what until it has more strength and you start getting multiple spikes.
How large are those flowers?

The flowers are about 4" across. It is the second flowering of this plant and hope I get more flowers and spikes in the future.

I expect it will. This is such a wonderful hybrid.
I am a home grower. I most likely have the 'Pachara' cultivar. It is giving me about a foot of growth a year and flowering about every 3 to 4 months with at least 10 flowers per spike with the most being 15 on one spike so far.

It is an old thread, but just wanted to mention that JOGA does not grant an FCC. Their system uses BM (bronze medal), SM (silver medal), and GM (gold medal). It amazes me vendors like Carmela and Orchids Limited blindly attach an FCC/JOGA because they should be more familiar with the society.
Also, there seem some confusion. I have seen 'Pachara' FCC/AOS (Carmela), 'Sakata' FCC/JOGA (probably 'Sakata' is correct. Sakate sounds weird for a clonal name), 'Somrsi' GM/JOGA, 'Amazing Blue' GM/JOGA, 'Blue No.1' GM/JOGA. It may be possible all of them have GM's, but JOGA does not give that many GM's to begin with. They seem to be receptive to give GM more than used to, say 20-30 years ago, though.
It seems 'Somsri' and 'Blue No.1' are valid, and both may have GM's, but not sure about others. This kinda illustrates how names for plants coming out of Thailand are not all that accurate or trustworthy.
