Lovely bloom on this one, Ted. And the plant looks to be incredibly healthy too (nothing worse, in my opinion, than seeing a nice bloom on some leggy vanda). Just wait until the scent appears within the next few days. When my V. tricolor's in bloom, the flowers usually get pretty battered from the noses of the various visitors who come over and go looking for the source of the great scent. Are you growing this one semi-hydroponically, or is that a standard bark mix? Hard to tell from the pic. Congratulations on the great-looking bloom.

Hi Steve, Thanks. Unfortunately it blasted 2 of the 3 spikes this blooming. A little over two years ago when I got is it had very little roots which grew quite well after it was separated from the mother plant. I’m growing this one in a basket suspended over a vase. There is a lot of algae growth in it.
