If you do a search on Sansai Blue here, there are several members whose Sansai Blues bloom 3-4x a year.

It could be, I haven't done any checking into this hybrid and its cloning. But I live in a climate where winters can go to -40 C and we get a fair bit of snow. Of course it lives indoors in winter. But the greenhouse is still much cooler than summer temps and the snow on the roof makes it necessary to use supplementary lighting all winter. I don't keep this under so much light in winter as all my Catts need that space. I may have a better chance to give it more this year. But once a year blooms is all I really expect from this one and the shape and colour seem pretty good. I got it from a woman who gets her plants from Thailand so I really don't know its origins beyond that.
