Classified Ad Honey dew on my vanda

I noticed that on the top of one of my vanda's this clear sticky liquid seems to be forming. I read that the presence of a honey dew like substance can be an indicator of scale insects, which secrete such a substance. I first notice its presence about a week ago. I have look been monitoring very closely with an magnifying glass but see no other signs of an infestation. Such as web like material on the underside of the leaves.
I am wondering if I should treat it with a Fungicide. I have uploaded a pic in my galley.

Any help would be most appreciated
Thanks
Greg

Honeydew itself doesn't indicate the presence of any bug. It usually just means that your plant is healthy, and doing what it likes to do, grow. It can attract bugs, such as ants, which like it. I wouldn't wory about it at all.

Yup, I have it in the same spot, and it's not quite the same "honeydew" The scale honeydew isn't really sticky, it's just kind of a slick surface, kind of dotted shiny surface, like oil had dried on the leaf... easyway to find out if it's a good honeydew or not, lick it! well, stick your finger on it and taste... if it's sweet, you're ok! If its not sweet, call poison control! lol... no seriously, but if you know it's clean, sweet = good.

Technically, speaking it's a sign the turgor pressure (the pressure of the sap) inside the plant is very high. This, usually, is a good thing. It means there is sufficient moisture for the plant to do it's thing.
