Oh, what a fascinating little thing. Thank you for sharing. Not familair with this genus ... looks like a challenge to grow though.

First time blooming for me, but it came beaten in that lost Thailand package last year so I am very happy it does grow well and blooms. They like pretty lot of light and also to dry out in between misting.

I actually think this one would do great in your environment, they are very tiny, they like to be mounted, they like to dry out in between waterings, and they like pretty good light, but not direct sun. Mine is hanging on the pot with Cymbidiella and it gets direct sun in the evening but this mini is shaded with ferns.

Tommy, my environment is low humidity, in the dry season it drops down to 20% or less, so Schoenorchis would probably struggle. Also another aspect is our water here is very heavy, high mineral content. I image such a genus would need clean water, high humidity conditions.
But I would still love to give it a try though.
Where do you source your plants from? It is very hard for us to buy / imports species here in Africa. Which nursery did you buy from in Thailand?

Phuphaman orchids - and I am pretty sure they do ship worldwide. I do know from your previous posts that your humidity is low, but there are growers in the USA that do not have great humidity and can still grow these. I would again place the Spanish moss over the plant, and covered the mount with it, if you spray the moss every day, it should increase humidity. But than, I am the person who would try anything and everything, I do not listen much what they say or what they write, if you know what I mean. At the beginning I was getting discourage to grow many species here in our Miami heat, many warned me I won't be able to even keep them, alive inside, and guess what, I DO. Not everything works, not every plant will survive, but you will be surprised how many you can actually grow even you thought it is not possible. I always try and see, than I can say for sure I can do it or I can't!

Mine is about to bloom for the second time .
Here is what I am doing. Mine is mounted on tree fern with a little bit of moss - it came that way. It is grown outdoors in summer and watered daily. It's easy to tell when it needs water - just feel it. On really hot days it might get watered twice. It is growing in a mostly-shade area - It only gets very late afternoon/evening sun and only for a short while. Temps outside here in summer are usually in the 60's (F) at night and up to 90F during the day.
In the winter it is indoors in my sunroom with very good air movement, but I struggle with humidity. Again it is misted/watered every day (unless it is still damp....). Temps during winter are usually high 50sF/Low 60sF at night and around 68F during the day.
Maybe that will help...
