It's had a few flowers through the year, the first couple of spikes have dried up but another has just opened it's first flower.
I had been asked on another thread to show how I grow this, so I will post the photo here as well. Without the vase the plant wrinkles us and aborts flowers, but with it it grows well and seems quite happy.

It looks fantastic! I am envious!
Mine was doing great but then one of the growths just dropped all its leaves. I still have another much smaller growth. I can only think that it either got cold or too dry one too many times.
I love the way you are growing yours in a "vase'. I have mine in a tabletop greenhouse where I can maintain the high humidity. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it makes it. Otherwise, I'll just have to enjoy yours

That is so cool! In the third picture it looks like she's sitting on top of a brownis! Hmmmm...maybe that's why I like it so much! j/k...

Rosie, I just got my third plant. Inspired by your post i believe. The first two died. Lack of moisture I suspect. The vase looks like a good plan. Does the bottom have pebbles with water?
