Aerides leaf growth habit?
Default Aerides leaf growth habit?

My aerides multiflora seedling has been growing nicely. I had an issue with one leaf turning red/purple, and since I took an Orchid Board member's advice and used some epsom salts in the water, the leaf has been going back to normal

However, the newest leaf on the left has either stopped growing or has been growing very slowly. The leaf coming in after it has caught up to it now, as you can see. Is this a problem, or a normal growth habit of this species?

I'm only familiar with my vanda, which has a much larger leaf before the new one starts growing.

Sorry, not sure so giving a

In general when I get small leaves on an orchid I believe it's a sign it was unhappy, however if the next leaf is longer again I don't worry about it.

When an orchid is transported( far distances), repotted, or just suddenly shocked they can often do this, but don't worry about it, the leaves get bigger quickly.
