I keep my orchids outside as much as possible during the summer, but if we are having a really hot spell I put them in the basement until it passes. We get some pretty high summer temperatures here too. You could always move it to the grow light area for a while just to see if it begins to recover.

Grow shadier and cooler.

Not all Vandas like to be blasted with light.

Those spots look like sunburn to me, also.

Thanks all. I moved it this morning over to a place where it will only get a bit of early morning sun, but not much. The light is diffused the rest of the day there because it's under the old oak tree and between our house and the neighbors.

If it were mine, I will just find a shadier spot, but still keep it outside and just step up misting or showering to further cool it down.

Yeah I don't think it's fungal or bacterial.
