Ascda Suksamran Sunlight - Orchid Board

In mid-March, I went to Bangkok to meet an experienced grower-Jack.
I had wanted to buy Suksamran Sunlight from him. Well, to cut the story short he gave me this stunning show-quality vanda!

It's about 2-ft tall with 3 keikis at the base.

2 weeks after I settled it at my location it sent out this spike which I cut at early June.

It sent out a new spike immediately. I should be able to post new pics some time next week when the 1st flowers open.

That's amazing! I have Suksamran spot, but it doesn't get this many flowers. I like the colour of yours much better too. Mine is pale yellow with burgundy spots.

That's beautiful! Ascda. Suksamran Sunlight was the first vanda I ever bought and it's still one of my favorites.

Does this one have huge flowers? My Suksamran spot have very big flowers for an asco.

This is absolutely stunning. I love the waxy substance of the flowers! I'm excited for mine to bloom; its still a very young plant however. What I love about this one is that it becomes a specimen quite readily and keikis frequently. Best of all it can have 3 or more spikes at a time.
