NoId vanda at HD
I was looking for spanish moss to wrap around the roots on some of my vandas and I passed by the plant section. There were lots of hanging plants and plants on hanging pots since it's almost summer. Then bam! hanging on top of my head was a huge vanda that looked like a Gordon dillon. Then on the corner, I saw a box full of vandas that had blues and pinks waiting to be displayed and tucked underneath was this! I like this salmon color. looks refreshing! anybody can ID it would be awesome.

I don't know what it is but it's very nice! We sure don't get anything like that or even bag babies at our HD's

I can see a lot of sanderiana influence on this one specially on the lip. I haven't seen bag babies at my home depot but they have some really cool plants from time to time. There's a blue vanda there that has almost 6" flowers and the plant is pretty big but I chose this one cause the color is unique. I like variations.

Bag Babies are infrequently sold at The Home Depot out here in SoCal.
They're more frequently seen in Lowe's. So there's another place to look, if you really wanted to find some Bag Babies.

Noid vanda at HD
I never buy plants at our local HD. They are as bad as WalMart at taking care of their plants. Doesn't mean I don't look but when I do it just reinforces my attitude.
I picked up several plants at Lowes last week.

Yea they really are bad at maintaining their plants or at least keep them looking fresh to be sold. The plants in the box where i got this from were crushed and some flowers falling off and they weren't even displayed yet and i found this one underneath and buried cause it was small compared to the other one-meter tall ones with huge flowers. They looked really good specially the blue ones.

I never find anything worthwhile at HD, but several Lowe's in my city sometimes have cattleyas (and once in awhile a Vanda).
